WinSCP errors

Post by eheimburg »

Hopefully just a newbish question -- using build 257 on Windows Server 2003, I am trying to connect with WinSCP (4.07 or 4.1, tried both). But I get an error after connection:

Error getting name of current remote directory.
Cannot get real path for '.'.
No such file or directory.
Error code: 2
Error message from server: No such file
Request code: 16

What am I doing wrong? (It connects fine with Core FTP LE.)

Thanks!

Dear all!

I have the same problem. I have created a new ftp server on my local srver and I am trying to connect from a client computer with a WinSCP to the created Core FTP session on the server computer. Unfortunatelly I get the same failure every time I try to connect:

----
Kann den realen Pfad für '.' nicht ermitteln.
Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden.
Fehlernummer: 2
Fehlermeldung vom entfernten Rechner : No such file
Anforderungsnummer: 16
----

I guess it depends on server local file system, but I do not have any idea how to solve it?

Can some body help?
