I have installed the windows version of the Core Lite sftp product, and successfully connect to a Linux box (RH9 running vsftpd) using sftp(version 2, of course).
However, what's got me scratching my head is that under ordinary conditions the username and password I connect with will only restrict the user to a particular directory, but in Core this user has all root privileges and can browse to root and do anything.
I must be missing something...for I have noticed that this behavior does not obtain for other commercial brands of SFTP clients for windows. Is there some kind of configuration of this product that I missed, or is this a serious bug?
