I'm trying to create an http download link for a filename containing Chinese characters. In Windows I can type Chinese into the file name itself no problem. Then I drag the file into a folder using CoreFTP. Then I r/click and copy the url. Then I delete the first part of the url and change ftp to http, followed by the web address, folder and filename.
It works perfectly if the filename is all English characters, but if the filename begins with Chinese characters, then this part remains separated from the link, leaving only the first part as a url.
Following the only suggestion found in the Forums, I've also tried r/clicking the filename and changing the font to Arial Unicode, but this doesn't work.
It has worked perfectly for a few years, now it suddenly stops working. What can I do please? Thank you for any suggestions.

make sure the UTF8 option is selected under SSH/SFTP "..." settings
