Hello folks, so I've got a server setup on my computer. I need to connect to it remotely from a separate network via public IP address.
Here are the current settings:
Domain Name: DESKTOP-B91EF5K
Domain/IP Address: 192.168.0.101
Base Directory: C:\SERVER
IPv4: Checked
Port: 21
Logon message is set. All remaining settings are set to default. Please advise as to how I should go about resolving this.

Re: Unable to Connect to Server
users will connect via your external IP.
http://coreftp.com/misc/myip.php
If you are behind a firewall/router you may need to port forward port 21 to local address (192.168.0.101), as well as a range of ports for the data channel (ie: 50000-51000 -- enter this value in the domain "pasv port range" fields).

Re: Unable to Connect to Server
Ok, so what do I change my Domain/IP to?
Yeah, I've forwarded the port to the local address. Firewall has been disabled, for the purpose of getting this to function. I'm not sure if my router has those options. All it has is the public and private ports, that I notice.

Re: Unable to Connect to Server
Your Domain/IP will be the local computer IP address or machine name.
Then port forward your router to this address. Your router should have port forwarding capabilities - they may be under "advanced" settings.
