Blocking session. SOLARIS9 vs Windows Server 2008R2

Post by lanthano »

Good morning.

We need to connect from a server solaris 9 to CoreFTP server installed on Windows Server 2008 R2. Via sFTP (SSH) and public key authentication.

If we try to connect from another machine using filezilla connectivity is correct (with password authentication).

But if the same test launched from the Solaris 9 server, when we authenticate with a password, the session is blocked and returns the system prompt, we using putty in the test (login to solaris9 and launch a ssh session to coreftp server).

Please help us you can find the error.

Best regards.

Sorry, I have detected one error.

When i said: "the session is blocked and returns the system prompt, " I want to say "the session is locked and not returns the system prompt, "

Best regards

Make sure you are using the SFTP utility or establishing an SFTP session.

Older versions of Solaris may have key issues without applying the proper patches also.
