I have read a couple of other messages here about file timestamps when uploading files, but I am still confused!
When I used Micro$ofts Web Publishing Wizard, the files on my FTP server got the same date/time as my local files. This is also the case with Wise FTP, but when I use Core FTP Lite (V1.3 build 1334) they don't!
Immediately after the upload, the server file listing in Core FTP shows the correct timestamp (the same as that of the local file), but when I move to a different folder, and then back again, it changes to show some other timestamp (I assume that of the FTP server).
I have tried this with the "Do not use MDTM for date/time" option both checked and unchecked and there is no difference in behaviour.
Any ideas?
What's confusing me is that Wise FTP and Micro$oft retained my timestamps!
Date/Times (timestamps) on uploads
OK, Sorry, once again i reveal my stupidity!!
Anyway, below is the log of transfering one file with "Do Not Use MDTM" option checked.
