I have two ftp servers loaded onto a windows 2k3 server. I can get the other ftp server to accept traffic (logon and put or get a file) in PORT / Active mode (port 21, 20) - so it's not a network / firewall issue. I cannot get CoreFTP to accept traffic as PORT / Active. In fact, when I use the client, it tries using the Active connection then switches over to PASV and gets through. When the client uses PASV I can download a file on CoreFTP sever.
Am I missing a configuration setting? I just want regular (non-secure) ftp on port 21. I have a "domain" set up with an IP, port 21, base directory with no other setting changes to the default.
I should add that I'm in the trial / evaluation version.
