SFTP w/ Authentication required

Post by Hipk »

CP:

I purchased the CoreFTP server yesterday for our office use and wanted to set up a SFTP server on our Win2003 server and require key authentication because we do have some remote locations accessing our server. Initially I had some issues getting it to work, but it turned out to be a key issue & now in testing it is working great. I did upgrade my client to the 2.0beta. I wanted to thank you for a simple inexpensive solution that works on a windows server. I am a linux geek, so using openSSH/ cygwin or SSHWIN on the win2003 server was feasible, but my boss is anti open source for some unknown reason

The only thing is, I REALLY would like to see your 2.0 client move out of beta. Also wondering since I purchased a license for the server if I can get continous upgrades :) .

Thanks again for great product for a windows box. Brian

Thanks! My vote is for unlimited upgrades for those that have purchased the server already :P

We opened our port today and have 2 of our users setup for SFTP. Gotta get the rest of the group onboard and then I can shutdown the FTP port and just have SFTP open. Can't wait after what I had to deal with last week!
