License upgrade?

We're testing a temporary installation of Core FTP server. We plan to purchase the basic edition for US$49.99, since that fits our current needs.

If our needs change and we need the Standard edition, would we need to pay the full price for that license or just pay the price difference?

Just the price difference plus a small processing fee.
