command line ftp - retry connection issue

Post by rechavarri@carecredit.com »

I'm trying to connect to an external ftp host through a proxy using a templete via a command line and my connection occasionaly fails without allowing me to connect. If I retry it manually it will work but it doesn't retry on it's own even though I have the retry settings set.

here is the error message:

Can't establish connection --> ftp1.blahblahblah.com:21 @ Fri Jun 09 14:12:38 2006
(11001-100)No such host is known.

Any ideas?

I'm using version release ver 1.3c, build 1447.4.

thanks

So, how do I get coreftp to retry if this occurs again? I'm able to connect to that particular ftp site 9 times out of 10.

So are you saying that the auto retry function within the application will not retry on this type of an error?
