I like Core FTP a lot, even though it is highly sensitive to changes in its configuration data and will stop working if some values are accidentally changed.
Anyway...
I have tried several times over many years to use View -> Options -> Data -> Use default configuration file, as described in the documentation at (url caused posting to fail) .
Each time, the option remains set at Use Registry when Core FTP is next run.
This is a long-standing small problem for me, as putting the data in the registry makes it more difficult to backup.
If this is a deliberate limitation in the free version, there should be a notice in the product and a notice in the documentation. Or is this actually a bug, even in the paid edition?
Windows 8, Core FTP LE 64 bit and 32 bit, version 2.2.
