Hi,
I'm running Windows 7 on my main PC and my laptop. I've installed CoreFTP server on my PC, and the client on the laptop.
I managed to set up an SFTP server with the public/private keys etc, and can connect to it via my local network or via the internet (using DynDNS to point to my home PC). So I'm sure I've opened up the right ports on my router etc.
Unfortunately, though I can browse my FTP server OK, and upload stuff OK, any time I try and download, it stops after 32kbs. This is no problem for incredibly small files, but I'm not trying to move incredibly small files!
I've persevered for a number of hours trying to fix this, but don't seem able. I've tried changing various settings that might be related, googled for the problem, turned off both windows firewalls, all to no avail.
I don't know why it is stuck at 32kbs. There is no setting that I can see that is set to 32kbs, so no particular reason it should stop at that point!
I will happily provide logs if anyone can tell me what I should be providing?
Any help really gratefully appreciated. I got so close to getting it all right, but for some reason I just can't nail this last bit!
PS - I've tried connecting to the server from the SAME PC using the client program, and get the exact same problem!
James
