any way to set Core FTP as default protocol handler in win7?

Using windows 7.
Trying to set Core FTP as my default application for handling ftp and sftp protocols. I see the option in Core FTP to make Core FTP my default FTP client. However, when I click an ftp link in another application, it does not launch Core ftp.

Further, if I click an SFTP link in another application, I get an error message something like cannot find a program to handle sftp.

Any way to force Windows to use Core FTP for FTP and SFTP protocols?

I just started using Core FTP and I'm having the same problem . I don't really want to uninstall FileZilla . I'm interested if you ever figured out a solution
