Using the Site Profiles backup file to restore sites

I'm stuck!

I want to use the backed up profile file of all my sites stored on my desktop machine, on my laptop.

I can see no way of "importing" the profile backup information - there must be a way, or why create a backup in the first place?!

PLEASE can someone solve this issue for me?

Hi Jayhud...

I solved it
....with a bit of help from a well-hidden FAQ on this!

You need to open your Site Manager list, right-click on the list of sites to bring up a list of options, one of which is to "Import..."
Choose the "Core FTP" option and the rest is easy: locate the backed-up profile file and it will bring your list straight in.

Easy when you know how....
...just a shame there's no instruction to tell you this!
