Help with connection issue: Error loading directory

Windows XP sp1 with all current updates (except SP2)
No anti-virus software running (turned off trying to fix this issue)
No anti-spyware software running (turned off trying to fix this issue)

Next to this computer is a Windows 2000 Advance Server PC, connects fine so I know my Linksys Router is not the issue (no special settings for that computer in the router).

When I try to connect to the same site with my XP computer with Core FTP lite, this is the squence:
