Folders shown as GROUP - Help urgent !

Post by cauzion »

:( Someone can help me please !! I did the CoreFTP upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2 and now when I log into my FTP server account, the folders on root are shown as GROUP and I can't access them.

Something like:

filename size date
group 0 aug 16 7:42 web 0 01/01/00 01:00
group 0 aug 17 12:20 bkp 0 01/01/00 01:00

and so on...

I desinstaled it, reinstall and the same happens

Thanks you

Could you post the log (after logging in)? Looking for the SYST command specifically.

Thanks for answer. The problem was so urgent that I have to uninstall it and install the 2.1 version again and it's working. I will install 2.2 again sometime later and will send you the logs.

Kind Regards,

I have the same problem, and i'm also using version 2.2. With other FTP clients(flashfxp/filezilla/coreftp 2.1) it works fine. I'm working with windows 7 X64. After the SYS command there's the CWD command and that turns out succesfull.

Same thing happened to me with the most recent version of CoreFTP - I'm using Windows XP 32bit. I solved it by installing older version (1679).

I also encountered this.

SYST
215 Windows_NT
TYPE I
200 Type set to I

I'm having to use Filezilla now instead. We use CoreFTP at work, but I can't now because this one server it can't connect to properly. I've asked what server software they're running.

The issue will be resolved in build 1717 and greater.
