I have a problem with someone trying to connect to my ssh server. Currently I have one account set up on the core server and am able to connect to it myself using core ftp lite (I run a windows machine). I am enforcing key exchange with ananymous user selected.
The problem is the following: the user needs to be able to schedule the sftp job and so is setting up the sftp user in cygwin so it can use cron. In order to do this the user must be created in cygwin and then configured with mkpasswd. After the mkpasswd step the user is no longer able to connect. The user has been able to connect with a user created as sftp in windows so there does not appear to be a routing issue.
Hope someone can help. Thanks.
