Not sure if this is the right forum for this so admin please feel free to move it.

Trying to get CoreFTP to connect to my webserver which is running Core FTP Server for uploading but I am running into this error.

This is what i see on the Core FTP Client:

I've tried the FTP client running it with the PASV tick box both black, grey and unticked and each time i get the same error.

The user that is trying to connect has been given full permissions (basically an admin user) the directories that they connect to exist as well.

I have ports TCP 989 (ftps-data) and 990 (ftps) open since i'm connecting via a secure connection.

Is there some other setting that i've missed out when configuring the FTP Server or the FTP Client? Or is there something else that i need to open on the firewall?

Thanks and regards,

Mark

Thanks CP, that'll get me going in the right direction. I'll have to give our hosting company a call and get them to configure the firewall settings.

Regards,

Mark
