64-bit / x64 installations that have this crash may have an older DLL that needs to be updated.
Download the updated corecert.dll here:
https://www.coreftp.com/misc/corecert.dll
Exit Core FTP Server, overwrite the corecert.dll in the installation directory (ie: c:\program files\CoreFTPServer\)
This should resolve any crash issues in recent builds up through build 778.
