530 User cannot log in

Hello,

Recently I am getting this error message when I attempt to connect to one of my sites. How do I fix this issue so that I can connect to my site?

I have a second site that that I am also unable to connect to and the verbiage I receive is: Can't establish connection

I can't believe there are no replies for this post yet. I am having the exact same problem. I used to access both my web sites using Core FTP for uploads and downloads and can no longer get there! I've verified both sites have active FTP accounts, have verified user names and passwords, but when I sign on using Core FTP the user name gets an OK but the password is 530'd.
