Hi there,
I have a website I am trying to delete on Core FTP. I never added the FTP to my laptop and now I don’t know the person who did. Is there a simple delete option? I would be very grateful, I mean I am technical but only used the programme a few times, I have deleted my domain with go daddy but it all looks confusing. Please can someone advise step by step how to remove completely??

If you no longer have FTP access, you would need to contact the web host provider and ask them to remove it.

Hi there, I do have FTP access it’s on a old laptop of mind just don’t know how to do? I can log in then a little lost. Any chance of step by step?

Either delete all files in the directory (or html directory).
or if you want to save everything but hide it from public view:
rename the index.html (or index.php, etc) to index.html1.
Create and upload a file called index.html that has the following data in it.

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type"
content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
