CoreFTP LE 2.2 / Srvr 2012 R2 / Sites not visible on startup

We've recently upgraded to Server 2012 R2. I installed LE 2.2 and imported the sites from the previous machine. Several times now, when I've started CoreFTP, the sites are not visible in the manager. When I re-index the sites, they appear. This doesn't happen every single time. I've done some experimenting, but haven't been able to discern a pattern to when it happens.

Any ideas?

it likely means the index file cannot be updated (written to).

You may need to 'run as admin' when using the indexing option.
