I have a Dlink DNS-343 network file storage that has the ability to be used as an FTP server. I set it up before I left home, to include port forwarding through my Vonage and a Dlink router to the file storage. I went to a local hotspot and was able to FTP into it from outside my network and see the files just fine. Now I am on a business trip and cannot access the files and I know everything is on and I have checked to ensure the webname is resolving to the IP address correctly. Here is the log:

I attempted to use a secure tunnel VPN thinking that maybe the network I am on is blocking the FTP port, but get the same error. I attempted having my wife changing the port that the DNS-343 is listening on to port 8080 and had the port forwarded through the routers and tried connecting on this port. I got the following:

Connect socket #532 to <home IP>, port 8080...
Can't establish connection --> <webaddress>:8080 @ Mon May 02 16:56:29 2011 (0-38)

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this, or how I can fix or get around it? Thak you in advance.
