Global Simultaneous Connections not regarded via CLI

Post by sdenathaniel »

Hey Guys,

Was wondering if anyone else has run into this, when setting multiple simultaneous connections as a global preference it works in the GUI but when I try a cmd line upload of multiple files it will only utilize 1 connection.

Is this normal? Perhaps passing specific site profiles may override this? Has anyone tried anything like this before.

Also when I start 2 process threads, I can only view the status of one of them the other will progress in the background but does not update the windows past "connecting".

Still haven't had any luck getting multiple connections from the command line. I switched from FTPsync to CoreFTP for this specific feature but it seems like it does not actually exist.

Are there any windows based FTP clients that support multiple connections via CLI?

Build 1775 and greater will have a -multi option that will use multiple connections set in a site profile.

Multiple with each transfer?

Post by bspaulding »

Hi there,

I have been trying to get the new -multi switch to work to no avail. The use case I am hoping to achieve is the performance boost from utilizing "Multiple for each transfer" which provides essential download acceleration from multi-part / "segmented" downloading.

It works perfectly within the GUI, but when attempting to invoke from the command line including '-multi', it does not -- just a single connection.

Do you see this as well, and can it be added into the next build?

thank you!
