New versions of coreftp replace "/" with ".&q

Post by ipman »

We've recently switched from openssh to tectia and now are experiencing some weird logins that replace the / to a . and cause permissions issues.

For example:

Welcome to Core FTP, release ver 2.1, build 1649 (U) -- © 2003-2010
WinSock 2.0
Mem -- 2,097,151 KB, Virt -- 2,097,024 KB

Should also mention i run a much older version of coreftp 1.3 and it works fine.

Also if they disconnect after getting the "." and reconnect the site runs normally with "/". Until they try to connect again in a few hours.
