since a while I have serious problems with filenames not showing correctly in the server pane (they are fine in the local drive pane). I have some files with Japanese filename. Up to builg 1649 everything was fine, I could treat them exactly as the files with Latin titles. From build 1673 on, the Japanese filenames are shown completely corrupted. This happens under Windows 7; in Windows XP no problem. Summarizing:
WinXP: everything is fine
Win7: fine up to 1649, Japanese filenames corrupted from 1673 on.
I had reported the bug by mail when 1673 came out, got one answer saying "it won't be easy to fix" then nothing. And the bug is still there.
The default "View -> Encoding -> ASCII" works fine in WinXP and in 1649/Win 7. No improvement after changing to Unicode.
