This is probably something simple, but I'm stuck...
I followed the directions - set up ftp server domain and test account.
Then tested it by ftping into my server. It moved very very slow, and kept saying it was connecting, but finally it allowed me to upload a file - whew!
So I went back into CoreServer and changed the settings to port 22 and SSH/SFTP. Made the port changed in Windows Fire Wall, and went back to my other PC and changed the port on the account settings.
When I ran a test it said it was connected, and then hangs up for a bit at SSH-2.0-CoreFTP-0.1.2 and finally says connection failed
Settings: I have a self signed cert set up, I selected the file to use for the cert with .cer as the extension. Couldn't find more detailed documentation on this. Did not set up keys (as I do not know what to do there and couldn't find info on it). This is all very new.
So what did I do wrong? Any ideas on what I can try?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Newbie question - ftp worked, but SSH/SFTP didn't
