How do you change your password

Post by mdemoss777 »

Is it possible to change your password at the password field?
In our old FTP program you would just enter oldpassword\newpassword\newpassord

Does CoreFtp have this function also? Thanks.

I know you can change it once you sign in and right click on the remote directory listing, seelect custom commands, Quote. Then you would enter SITE PSWD oldpassword newpassword

Also the following may work on some servers:

Right click on the remote directory, select 'custom commands' -> 'quote'.

Then enter: SITE CPWD password where password is your new password

SITE PSWD with SSH

Post by MHS »

I am unable to get the 'SITE PSWD oldpassword newpassword' command to work when connected to our FTP server with SSH enabled. It works without SSH.

We are using Core FTP Lite as the client and Titan FTP as the server.

Thanks for any help.
