Is Core FTP Server Windows Server 2008 Compatible?

We've been experimenting with it on 2008 Std 32-bit here. We've noticed a couple things (enough that our registered production version was placed on 2003R2). One that sticks out in my mind is that when installed as a service 2008 gets confused if the service is running or not. We can start the service manually through the CoreFTP interface but the 2008 services mmc still thinks it's stopped even after several refreshes, closures, etc.
