I am having trouble connecting to a Secure Server.
The Site has provided me with two key files via email.
The first is called keycert.pem which they told me is their private key and SSL Certificate.
The second is their Trusted Root Certificate.
My configuation is OpenSSL, PASV, Port 10021 (per their instructions)
Under Advanced - OpenSSL - Certificates for the Private Keys I used the keycert.pem file they sent me.
For the Public Keys I used the keycert.pem file they sent me.
For the PASSWORD field following the Public Key, I used the same password that they provided me for logging in. (Which I'm not sure of)
Following is my log for the connection:
Connect socket #3672 to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, port 10021...220 CONNECT:Enterprise Gateway 2.0.04. FTP Server ready...
AUTH SSL
234 AUTH: command accepted. Securing command channel ...
SSL error initializing certificate(s) - 1 (load or pass failure)
SSL Connection not established
I am losted as to my next steps, any and all help would be appreciated.
SSL error initializing certificate(s) - 1 (load or pass fail
Thanks for the idea.
I imported the trusted certificate via IE and all went well.
In Core FTP I removed the the Public Key for the SSL Certificates and Password as you suggested.
I ran it using Windows SSL. That failed. Then I get the error message Error finding the certificate chain.
I Then ran it in OPen SSL puting the Root Certificate in the place of Public Key location along with the Private Key in place.
Still No luck.
No Luck. I still get the same error. I am ready to pull my hair out. This seems like it should be straight forward.
The Secure Server folks said:
"To be able to create the digital certificates for your Secure FTP process I need to know what city and state you are in and who's name should be on certificate"
I provided that to them. I'm wondering if that has to be part of my setup on Core FTP in some strange way.
Thanks again
