Can't get mini-server working under Windows 10

I posted this elsewhere and received no answer, so I'm re-posting here.

I'm running Core FTP mini-server v 2.04 on a PC that recently upgraded to Windows 10. I'm running Core FTP LE ver 2.2 build 1853 on another PC that is still under Windows 7, that I use to connect with the mini-server.

When I try to make connection, the mini-server shows that a connection is established, but the LE client displays error messages: Server error: Permission denied; Data port failed; Error loading directory.

What should I do?
