Core Lite FTP 1.3
Build 1417.02
Is there a way to download files that are hidden?
For example in the Remote site you only see "/...". In WS_FTP there a feature "input" where it automatically locate and download the file but i perfer to use core lite.
I attempted using the core's Search icon but that did not work.
Blind download using core lite ftp
different ways to set this up:
1: Right click on the remote directory, directory commands -> list mode -> advanced (this is for the current connection)
2: In your site profile -> advanced -> general -> check (black) advanced directory listing (for one site)
3: View -> options -> general -> check advanced directory listing. This is the global setting for all sites.

I tried what you suggested but that didn't help much.
The folder i attempting to download files from was design so that all files in this particular folder is hidden.
I'm logging using anonymous account. I know the exact file name. I would like to know if there's a feature to type in the "file name" and have core ftp download it for remote site.
using directory information i confimed there exist 40 files in this particular dictory.
I can download the entire folder but... there is no files inside if i do that.

Sorry I misunderstood what you were asking
The only ways to download hidden files are:
1: By a weblink in a browser ie: ftp://ftp.coreftp.com/coreftplite.exe
Use the browser integration of Core FTP ( view -> options -> general -> browser integration)
2: By command line:
"c:\program files\coreftp\coreftp.exe" -d ftp://ftp.coreftp.com/coreftplite.exe
(I'll have to verify this, it may also work a few other ways)
"c:\program files\coreftp\coreftp.exe" ftp://ftp.coreftp.com/coreftplite.exe
I'm not sure if you can do this in the Core FTP GUI itself. I'll have to check into it and get back to you.
