I cannot find my upload unless I type in the extension after the /
My old program automatically uploaded my .index as the "root" site so no extension was necessary. How do I do this with core FTP?
Now when I type in my website address (www.DCCurlies.com) I get an message saying I don't have "access to / on this server". It used to take me automatically to www.DCCurlies.com/index/page1x.html
thanks
Wendy
How to upload to "root" site
still not working
all the pages in my index folder have .html at the end... page_1x.html page_2x.html, etc..
I'll give it a try
I'll work on it tomorrow.
I've been using the same webhost (DGTweb.com) for several years without a problem. Its just switching from WS FTPpro to Core FTP that has thrown me. It's rough for someone like me that isn't very computer savvy to switch to a new computer!
I'll be back .... thanks for the assistance

failure
I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I named a page index in my index file, and it was uploaded as index/index.html
still no luck, I get the same access denied error message when I type in the website address.
I did notice that my pages are coming up with a colon and number extension after the domain name (http://www.dccurlies.com:16080/index/index.html)
I never saw the :16080 back when my site used to work?
