Pro Version - set custom file editor, where?

php files look awfully formatted in Notepad - where can I set my desired editor to open files?

Okay, created a .php extension in XP - php files now open locally in my desired editor fine BUT *remote site edit* opens in both, my editor AND Notepad.

sugestions?

Hmm, looks like I found the problem - the file itself!
I overwrote it with the original one and problem seems gone.

It does not explain why Filezilla saw no problems as well as UserShell3 worked fine changing file's access properties.

Definitely something fishy going on with CoreFTP..

Be assured the file IS selected when I right-click it for a custom command.

So it is sending the %1! What text is in the custom command you entered?? (should be: SITE CHMOD 777 %1) Also remember you have to have a file selected in order for Core FTP to know which file to set the permissions on (right click on the filename, select custom commands, then the command y...

I guess u mean the log in the top frame?
It says:
550 %1: No such file or directory

obviously it sees %1 as filename itself?

Done this - ERROR: no such file or directory

SITE CHMOD 777 %1

Played around abit - this works as custom command:

SITE CHMOD 755 FormMail.cgi

looks like the %1 is the problem!

Here what I got from them: 220 ProFTPD 1.2.9 Server (Main FTP Server) In fact, it looks like that coreFTP chmod is useless for me at this time. I have to use provider's WebShell3 to chmod - this works flawless. :( They ask me to use Filezilla - maybe it helps u to fix my problem?! Edit: Just tried F...

Error: parameter is incorrect

when trying to change a cgi file's properties to 755. I gave up and used webshell without any problem.

I don't understand what to do or what you mean to ask the network person. What do I do? I know nothing about FTP programs so please tell me step by step what I need to do. The program is always disconnecting. u probably have an Internet firewall running? - tell the firewall (rules) to open the FTP ...

You can also set it from: View -> options -> check advanced directory listings. If you only want to set it once for all sites. The reason it's not turned on by default is because .htaccess a complicated issue for the average FTP user to deal with, and can cause problems if they edit it or accidentl...

Both!
For me the current button design makes the UI look a tad cheapish.
People even might judge the software based on the appearance of the UI -CoreFTP clearly deserves better than that.

Encryption of your files with FTP

hmm, reading this chapter, when I upload encrypted html/script files, I think they are rendered useless for any html browser?
I must miss something!

I am a bit puzzled myself!
It is not obvious in which format to save the exported site bookmark (no given file extension). It looks like the export is in ascii (txt) but there seems some binary code in it as well.

Maybe we get a hint :?
