Ok, trying out the new build, but still is asking about registration info. I would assume that if it's beta software, we shouldn't be bother with a license.
Specially, that I would like to test two domains (one FTP and one SFTP) but can't as the license expired.
Thank you.[/quote]

yes, you can setup both domain types (on separate domains of course) within the same instance of Core FTP Server. You shouldn't run into any issues as far as incompatibility between the two goes. Except for licensing issues - Without a license, after 30 days, only one domain is allowed, hence can't...

I'm not sure if your issue is a licensing issue or server problem. There were a few other users saying they couldn't run both server types at the same time but this issue was looked into yesterday and there doesn't seem to be a problem running an FTP and SFTP server at the same time. Core FTP Serve...

You don't need a license to run the server, it will run two domains without one. There isn't a server program for EDU's yet with the exception of the regular EDU discounts that are offered. So the question is, if we try new builds, why won't it reset the clock ? It complains about I've been running...

Key based auth ?
I'm trying to figure out (if it actually can) to do key based authentication with the miniSFTP server. I know were the password info is stored, but not sure where (if anywhere) would you store the public key (ie in unix, you would store it in 'authorized_keys) I still see many issues with the full c...

Re: build 164 - SSH and FTP problems (most command don't wo
mkdir and rmdir aren't FTP commands... I believe they are unix shell/dos command line commands. MKD and RMD are the FTP commands you might be thinking of. mget is not an FTP command either as far as I know so this could be a unix / Windows situation that does not match up. I'll take a look at it. Y...

FTP and SSH under one domain ?
It seems I cannot run both FTP and SSH at the same time. As a personal/edu customer, is this how it works ?
Note that I'm showing that I'm unregistered and I've been running for over 70 days - I thought it would detect I'm an edu customer in any case and not give me a warning.

EDU not recognized ?
I'm an edu customer. CoreFTP complains that I'm not licensed and being using the product for over 70 days.
I've sent several messages to sales, that went unanswered. I've posted before a few times and nothing.
WHO can help here ? Why won't it detect I'm an edu customer ?
TIA..

Here is the latest build that is being tested - hope it fixes the problems that you are seeing (there are fixes in this build for SFTP virtual directories). http://www.coreftp.com/server/download/Server144.exe Hello, first post - but I still don't get it... This is with SFTP... Sometimes the simple...
