Hi,
We are switching servers and i tried to just zip up the CoreFTPServer folder and transfer it to our new server, but start CoreFTP server up, everything is blank.
How would i export the user database so i can maintain users and passwords.
I dont need the main settings, that is just a 2 min. setup. But obviously i dont save users passwords and keep them in cleartext, so what to do?
regards
Dennis

Re: Migrating settings and user db
Try pointing to the configuration in the global settings.
Core FTP Server - Sysem menu - Global settings
Select the config.dat in the installation directory (or wherever you may have placed it).

Ok, great, that worked. Not sure what i did wrong before.
But now for the license, how do i unregister the old CoreFTP Server license, so i can register it on the new server? (i might have asked this in a seperate post also).

ah, there is a "remove license" button in Global Settings -> Register, great!
