Could this be my solution???

My director has full control over the firewall which blocks zip attachments. We have been getting more and more requests for the firewall to allow zips than ever before. I am wondering if I could use CoreFTP as a solution to get around the firewall. The sender would "drop" the zip file in the designated folder and then our employees could retrieve the zip file. I am in the healthcare field, so there are several cases where patient data is involved so the highest security would be needed. Is anybody using CoreFTP for this reason? Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
