I set up a transfer via the scheduler but when it starts, the splash screen comes up, counts down from 5 to 1, then I get a "Core FTP App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Further details:
My system is Win Xp Home, SP1 and upto date on all MS critical patches.
512 MB Ram, 2.66 mhz P4
Core FTP Pro is build 1244
Error message when click on "more information" :
AppName: coreftp.exe AppVer: 1.3.0.0 ModName: coreftp.exe
ModVer: 1.3.0.0 Offset: 0001d074
I have saved the very long technical details error it if will help, let me know and I will post it or send it to you.
I have tried rebooting my computer and making sure that nothing else at all is running but I still get this error when ran from the task scheduler.
It works fine when connecting and transferring manually.
However the main feature that attracted me to Core FTP was the ability to schedule transfers as I need to back up important files from my web server to my local machine automatically once a day.
Thanks for any help.

Crashes when using scheduler
Command line posting
I am looking for build 1245 to see if this will help alleviate my current problem. I am running a simple command line upload of a directory worth of files. I am using the Lite version of CoreFTP. It appears to to do everything I need. However, after running correctly once, if I run it again it bails out with an error and doesn't post all of my files. In particular, it fails to copy my .htm files while successfully copying .gif etc... I also tried this within the GUI and the same thing happened. Did not get the program error but I did have the failed .htm transfer error.
Any thoughts and would 1245 help me.
I have looked very hard for an easy command line ftp program. I like this one and I don't want to go anywhere else if possible.
Thanks,
Tim

Regarding my Crash issues
I may have worked through the issue though it is one for your testing purposes. Afdter installing CoreFTPlite, I used it exclusively from the command line while not specifying my preference for file overwriting through the GUI as I did later. After selecting my preference in the dialog box, I do not seem to get that crash any longer.
I also included the -OA switch in my command line as well and now the .htm files are uploaded properly.
