If you're using a router, try connecting (if possible) directly to the main line rather than through the router. If you can connect after this, then your router's firewall is the culprit. If this is at your place of work, talk with a network administrator to see if there's any other configurations t...

You will want to verify with the site you're connecting to that you're using the proper information in your settings. You'll also want to make sure that you don't have a router or firewall that may be blocking SFTP or FTP connections. You're currently using SFTP -- the default port is 22. I don't kn...

Although it's mighty inefficient to have multiple files on the same server, it is sometimes necessary (SSL vs. standard site with images...depending on how it's done) and sometimes I just have a file that I need to tweak only a TINY bit but will appear extremely different (due to templating). A lot of people have been having trouble with their routers lately. Although it's most likely just large coincidence that it's happening now, who knows...maybe it isn't. Just type it directly in to your browser's address bar. Google is a search engine, and until your site is indexed/crawled by their bots, it won't be found in their search results.

Re: Command line or GUI

Perhaps the best treatment of case sensitivity would be to allow it to be a setting of the site. That way a COREFTP user could select case sensivity on a site-by-site basis. Because there are so many deviations and different OSs that will behave differently with case sensitivity, I think this would...
