I read through all the info I could on how the filter works. I am working with a very large directory, and the files I'm looking for are all either filename old.htm or html or filename .bak. I don't want to just GREP the directory because there are a few bak files I may want to keep and also old may...

aha!

I think I've narrowed down when this 'disappearing' problem happens. It may be when ctrl-clicking multiple files, when I get too many selected. Any thoughts?

Not sure if 'crashing' is the right word for what's happening to me. I've been going through my site cleaning out old/extra files and I really like using CoreFTP Pro to do it as opposed to shell.
