How do I set word to open my files instead of notepad?

Downloading in readable form
When I go into my Clients file and try to download, I am given my choices of what files to download. However, after downloading them, an error comes up stating I do not have the correct program to open it and when I view it, it is SOME English surrounded by a bunch of letters and symbols and is unre...
